2/8/22 meeting: Transgender advocacy in science

We will continue our discussion of Ben Barres’ Autobiography of a Transgender Scientist on Zoom.

We will focus on Part III, but you are welcome to comment on Part II of the book as well.

To extend our discussion of transgender scientists, we will also discuss a recent publication from Bryce Hughes: “Factors Influencing Retention of Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Students in Undergraduate STEM Majors”. You can get all the highlights from looking at the figures.
