10/12/21 meeting: Transgender activism in Singapore

Our monthly meeting is at its new time: this Tuesday at 5.

This month, we will be discussing an entry in the ‘Rainbow Guide to Life’ series from VICE Asia. In Singapore, changing one’s legal gender is allowed, which permits recognition of transgender identity, but few other protections exist. At the same time, same sex couples have yet to receive mainstream political support, and same sex contact between men remains a crime.
